I am far too lazy this evening to make 2 different blog posts! We are watching our nephew and he is refusing to eat. Though I did manage to get 1/2 an ounce of my breastmilk down him (in a bottle people!!).. he is refusing the formula and his momma forgot her milk and she lives too far to just run and get it... anyways!

So here is my WETBAG TUTORIAL!!! And of course my picture(s) for the day of 2/4/12
But make sure you read the entire thing, I will change a few things the next time so just read it thoroughly for what I did, and also what I WILL do.
I started with just under 2yards of PUL (because they screwed up when cutting) And an entire cotton flat sheet for the outside, and an 18" zipper. PUL does not shrink so no need to prewash, but your outer fabric likely will so please prewash this!!!
I had to measure a bit differently than normal since my edges weren't straight, so I measured in multiple spots and just hoped it would be straight (it wasn't so I had to start over haha). At any rate, you want your PUL to be 18x19 when finished, so including about 1/2" seam allowance, you will want it to be 36x20"... You don't need to add any extra seam allowance on the top/bottom for hemming because PUL doesn't fray, so you don't have to hem the ends (yay for one less step)! When measuring and cutting, measure one long strip of 36x20, when folding and pinning, you want the bottom of your bag to be the fold, so there will be no seams, holes, or otherwise leaky spots, at the bottom of the bag.

So yesterday (feb/3) was supposed to be a photo tutorial on how to make a wetbag.. alas, my thread sucked so I had to replace it, and I of course didn't take anymore pictures because my camera was downstairs on my craft desk. So I give you the beginning stages... prepare to see these same pics tomorrow haha

I have been doing a lot of homemade snacks today and decided to quick make another one before the boys went to bed. We even let Dominic help out! He helped pour the honey and brown sugar, and measured out the granola. And put on the peanut butter chips! He loved it. Now here is his concentration face.. tongue out and all haha

I am finding that I have to check the date to know what day I am doing. I am screwed once February starts!
Tonight I was going to take a posed picture of my husband but it got late and we got lazy. So instead I bring to you, my new "shampoo and conditioner" of choice. I wont be showing you a before picture as my hair already looks icky lol. But I will post an after picture in a week or 2 so you can see that it really DOES work!

My parents were over for supper today and as usual, they are very fun people! My dad bought this cowboy hat in Colorado I believe, and my son wanted his matching hat on so he grabbed the red one. Then grandma thought it would be great to get a pic of her in the red hat and grandpa in his.. so here is that one. I love this pic because my dad almost never smiles in pics and he was smiling big because he was laughing at the boys.

Yesterday I handed the camera to my oldest son (my digital, not my DSLR, I'm not quite THAT crazy!) and let him go to town. He had a blast!!! I will be giving him his own FB album for his work lol. Anyways this was my pic of him enjoying taking pictures

I am feeling completely uninspired today. And it shows with this skirt. I love the fabric but the way it fits, just bleh! And it's not long enough, I screwed up when cutting it. And I can't think of a damn thing else to take a picture of so today, you get to feel my complete lack of inspiration!

I had a REALLY bad day today. So my wonderful husband took a few extra minutes on his way home to stop and buy me some flowers. He bought me tulips! I don't think I've ever gotten tulips before. So this is the picture I took for today

I totally failed yesterday and did not take one single picture.. not even a video to save myself! I do however have a picture of the skirt I had mostly finished yesterday so that will be the installment for today(yesterday)

Today my husband and I moved things around in the basement in anticipation of my new desk! Well not new, new to me. We were able to pick it up from my mom's tonight and this is my new set up (not finished but the majority of it is done)
